Develop a bespoke Inclusion Strategy with focused expert support.
The Department for Education has provided schools with an Inclusion Strategy Template. Producing a meaningful strategy requires more than completing the document. It requires leaders to understand their pupils, analyse evidence, identify barriers and develop purposeful actions that make a measurable difference.
Drawing on my experience as a former HMI, Ofsted Inspector and school improvement consultant, I work alongside school leaders to develop a bespoke, evidence informed Inclusion Strategy that reflects their own pupils, evidence and priorities.

The supporting methodology
The consultancy is supported by three connected publications: Developing a Purposeful Inclusion Strategy, a Model Inclusion Strategy and Quality Assured Against the DfE Inclusion Strategy Template.
Together, they have been developed with reference to the DfE Inclusion Strategy Template and accompanying guidance, the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Act 2026, the Enrichment Framework, the SEND Code of Practice, statutory attendance guidance, behaviour, suspension and permanent exclusion guidance, Keeping Children Safe in Education, the Equality Act 2010 and Ofsted’s Areas of Research Interest, published April 2026.
Ofsted’s Areas of Research Interest reinforce the importance of understanding inclusion through children’s experiences rather than categories alone. They highlight barriers to learning and wellbeing, early identification, belonging, attendance and participation, multi-agency working and the impact of provision on children who face the highest barriers.
Who this service is for
This service is suitable for primary, secondary, special and alternative provision settings developing or reviewing an Inclusion Strategy and is designed for headteachers, senior leaders, SENDCos, trust leaders and governors.

After the Discovery Call, if we both agree to proceed, the next step is to arrange an Inclusion Strategy Development Session. Details of the session, including scheduling and arrangements, will be discussed and agreed directly.
